MIT’s Web Design Program has a great reputation. Students tend to have the most success learning Microsoft.NET, which requires Windows 2000. You will also need to get one of those pizza box Unix machines. For this program, you will enroll in MIT’s 6.916: Software Engineering of Innovative Web Services course. While this course is offered in every semester, it may not be offered in the Fall of 2020.
Web site design is an integral part of a website. It integrates text, images, and media elements to communicate with the viewer. Web development courses will teach you how to build web sites using HTML5 and CSS3. You will also learn about theoretical implications of the web. Tools used in this course will include Filezilla, Photoshop, and Brackets. If you don’t have a high school diploma, a certificate in web design will be helpful to your job search.
